Earth Day Activity For Kids - Energy Saving Ideas In Our Home To Protect the Planet Earth

Earth day is being celebrated every year on April 22nd since 1970 to promote planet's environmental awareness among people. This year on April 22, 2020, it is celebrating its 50th anniversary .  When And How To Educate Children About The Earth? Every day should be Earth day, but it is the best time to educate our children about the importance of protecting and caring about the planet. It is suggested to teach children about caring for the environment at an early age so that they can live in and contribute towards a healthy environment for the future generations to come. It can be done by involving children in practicing simple day-to-day actions such as recycling and making simple projects with recyclable and reusable items, using less paper, using water cautiously, switching off lights when not in use, connecting oneself with nature etc. Energy Saving Ideas In Our Home Activity-Focused on Collecting and Organizing Information Skill Charity begins at home, the activi

About Me

Hi, I am Tasneem!

Welcome to the blog and thank you for visiting! I am so excited that you're here!

The Mama Educator is a blog all about easy to make, interactive, play based learning activities and projects to do with kids. The blog is here to help educators, teachers and parents, who are always thriving to find some new and creative ideas, yet appropriate & easy!

Hello there! My name is Tasneem and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). I hold a diploma in Early Childhood Education from one of the Toronto's well known colleges "George Brown College" and registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing. Currently, I am working as a Support Staff in a childcare center and I have just started blogging.

Before being an educator, I am a wife to an encouraging and appreciative husband; and mother to three bright children. My eldest son is age 6, he is a soccer rocker! and is also a die-hard fan of the Toronto Raptors! My daughter who is 5 years old, she is a Queen of imaginary play and she loves to talk, dance, sing and dress up! My youngest son who is at age 11 months is a cute little dimple kid as he has two dimples on both sides of his cheek and he is in an exploring phase.

I studied Early Childhood Education as a part time student since my kids were little. The whole educational journey was very beneficial for me as I could relate theories and practices to my children. I use to make and test  my assignment activities on them and I loved watching them so engaged in the activity.

Why Blogging? Having a creative mind and a passion of creating crafts and activities have brought me here to share and express my experiences with you. The inspiration and motivation behind the blogging idea is a Fairy Friend! Who is a blogger. She not only encouraged me but helped me in putting my first step into the blogging world and Here I am!
